The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has suggested that the prospective presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, is merely feigning an anti-corruption stance and has no genuine commitment to combatting it.
Asiedu Nketiah has contended that the MP for Assin Central is employing such strategies to appeal to voters.
Asiedu Nketiah’s remarks come in response to Kennedy Agyapong’s denial of an alleged recording in which he purportedly commented on the government’s corruption.
In an interview Oyerepa show, Chairman General emphasized that Kennedy is well aware of the public’s dissatisfaction with the government’s ineffectiveness in addressing corruption.
He believes that Kennedy’s approach is an attempt to gain the favor of the Ghanaian populace.
