Assistant coach of King Faisal, Godwin Ablordey, has congratulated Dreams FC tactician Karim Zito for leading his side to lift the Mtn FA Cup trophy.
In an interview after the loss, Coach Ablordey expressed that they were determined to win but, unfortunately, lost to a better side. Coach Ablordey also paid tribute to Zito
“We played our hearts out but Dreams FC was the better side today and they deserve the win. Let me take this opportunity to congratulate my senior legend, Coach Zito, for winning the FA Cup match. I congratulate him.”
” We took the match very seriously but unfortunately for us, we lost by 2:0, we need to accept our defeat and move on.”- he added
Coach Karim Zito masterminded his side’s first major title win by beating King Faisal 2-0 on Sunday at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex to clinch the 2023 FA Cup trophy.
