I have made more sacrifices than any black stars player – Ex-Black Stars captain
Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan expressed he has made more sacrifices than any other player in the national team’s history.
In an interview, Black Stars general captain revealed that his teammates and even members of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) members are aware of the sacrifices he’s made and can testify to such claims.
“I always say that there are no players in black stars history who has made more sacrifices than me. I don’t see any player, everybody knows it, even those at the GFA know. When you talk about sacrifices, I know what I’m talking about.”
“The Black Stars was on my heart. I made sure I had to do everything to contribute whenever I came to the national team. Those with me can testify even through injuries and pain, I have to still come out and play .”- he added
Gyan cited playing through the pain for the Black Stars and his impact on and off the pitch as some of his sacrifices for the national team. Sometimes I regret human actions but I feel Im helping mankind
Asamoah Gyan is currently into other businesses such as boxing promotion, tennis promotion, and airline operations.
