The 2003 Women National Basketball African Champion, Aston Ndiaye expressed his gratitude to the NBA African for the organization of the junior NBA chair for young girls in Ghana.
Speaking at the event, in Accra, Aston Ndiaye expressed the support she gained from the NBA African to reach the height of her career.
” Am grateful to the NBA Africa office already and the state department for organizing this because I beat a lot of people to be able to stand here in front of you today because of basketball. The education they provided me, the amazing human beings they allowed me to meet and the possibility to become a leader after basketball “.
NBA games and programming are available in all 54 African countries, and the NBA has hosted three sold-out exhibition games on the continent since 2015. The BAL, a partnership between the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and NBA Africa, is a professional league featuring 12 club teams from across Africa.
