From his first day in office, everything was obvious that, the Nana Addo government is a loot and share one and they have not changed. Whoever believed otherwise was just deceiving themselves.

The order from President Nana Akufo Addo to the Auditor General, Mr Daniel Domelevo to proceed on leave has been one of the trending topics across the country this week.

Some social commentators and political pundits are of the view that, the action will serve as a bad precedent and should not be entertained.

The Peoples National Convention (PNC)’s Greater Accra Communication Director, Farudeen Yakubu believes it is just a plan by the President to pave way for looting.

He alleges that, the motive behind the compulsory leave given to the Auditor General is just for the President to have his way to make unnecessary payments to some government appointees and also loot and share the country’s money and properties in the absence of Mr Domelevo.

The PNC Communications Director noted that, the Kroll scandal involving Senior Minister, Honorable Yaw Osarfo Marfo is evidence of his claim and a testament to the loot and share ways of the New Patriotic Party and President Nana Akufo Addo.

“From his first day in office, everything was obvious that, the Nana Addo government is a loot and share one and they have not changed. Whoever believed otherwise was just deceiving themselves,” Farudeen said.

He concluded that, once the tone is set, no one should blame the next President elected if same happens and will resist any fierce opposition to that precedent should it occur.

He said this on Ahotor FM’s political program Asem Yi Dika hosted by Emmanuel Martey aka Alaska the Don.
