Ahotor FM Sports Update – Transfer Issues

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today’s top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Charlie Taylor to West Bromwich Albion

Charlie Taylor was strongly linked with moves to several Premier League clubs last summer and again in January, but the highly-rated 23-year-old left-back remained at Leeds United on each occasion. However, with the club having narrowly missed out of a place in this season’s playoffs, a switch to the top flight seems an inevitability for the Yorkshireman as his contract expires at the end of the current campaign. The Telegraph is reporting that West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis is keen to add Taylor to his backline.

Bertrand Traore to Stoke City

Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore, currently on loan in the Eredivisie with Ajax, caught the attention of many viewers around Europe on Wednesday thanks to his two goals in the Dutch club’s 4-1 Europa League hammering of Lyon. The 21-year-old Burkina Faso international has found the net an impressive 13 times for Ajax in all competitions this season and is now attracting interest from the Premier League. Stoke City are reportedly interested in bringing Traore back to England, but Chelsea may yet be keen to hang onto the gifted youngster.

Isco to Manchester City

After starring in Real Madrid’s 3-0 Champions League rout of Atletico, Isco might just have played his way back into manager Zinedine Zidane’s plans. The Spain midfielder stood in for the injured Gareth Bale and completed 98 percent of his passes to help Real take a huge step towards reaching the Champions League final for the third time in four years. However, the 24-year-old has not featured regularly enough at the Bernabeu over the last couple of seasons and has constantly been linked with moves away. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is a known admirer of Isco, who only has one year remaining on his contract in Madrid, and could swoop for the former Malaga man this summer according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.

Lukasz Teodorczyk to West Ham United

First reported by Italian publication Corriere dello Sport back in December, Liverpool and West Ham United are reportedly tracking Lukasz Teodorczyk, who joined Anderlecht on a permanent basis this year after a successful loan from Dynamo Kyiv. The Polish marksman has scored 28 goals from 47 appearances for the Belgian side in 2016-17 and his form in front of goal could see a scramble for his signature at the end of the season. Valued at around £12 million, reports in Belgium suggest Anderlecht are already prepared to cash in on the 25-year-old, with the Hammers currently in pole position.

Cesc Fabregas to Manchester United

Manchester United tried to sign Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona three years ago, only to face disappointment in their pursuit of the former Arsenal playmaker. Jose Mourinho, however, did sign the Spain star while at Chelsea, and, according to The Sun, he will try to do so again at Old Trafford, although Liverpool are also circling. Fabregas is set to claim a third Premier League winners’ medal this season, but he has started only 10 league games and will surely be looking for more regular action next term, whether that’s at Stamford Bridge or elsewhere.
