Action Legend Chuck Norris Dies at 86

Hollywood is mourning the loss of legendary action star and martial arts icon Chuck Norris, who has died at the age of 86.

According to a statement shared by his family, Norris passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones following a medical emergency in Hawaii. The family described him as a man of deep faith, purpose and unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Norris rose to international fame after starring alongside Bruce Lee in the 1972 classic The Way of the Dragon.

He later became one of Hollywood’s biggest action heroes through blockbuster films including Missing in Action and Delta Force, before winning a new generation of fans as Cordell Walker in the hit television series Walker, Texas Ranger.

Beyond his film and television career, Norris was a world karate champion, founder of the Kickstart Kids youth program, and an inspiration to millions through his discipline, philanthropy and faith.

His larger-than-life image also became part of internet culture through the famous “Chuck Norris Facts” memes.
