Henry Quartey, Minister for Interior, has urged Ghana Immigration Officers (GIS) to ensure strict border control as the nation enters the election season.
Speaking to the officers about maintaining peaceful and orderly elections, Quartey emphasized the crucial role GIS plays, particularly in safeguarding the country’s borders against potential terrorist threats.
He cautioned against political involvement by officers during this critical period, advising that any officer wishing to engage in politics should first resign from their position and formally join a political party.Top of Form
