The Ashanti Akyem North member of parliament, lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi has emphatically disagreed with Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame’s assertion that Prof. Frimpong Boateng’s report on galamsey claims of Government official’s involvement in the act lacks evidence.
According to the lawmaker, what investigations did the Attorney general do before rubbishing the report?
The claim of Prof. Frimpong Boateng is unfortunate. He is of the view that, if we keep handling issues the way we are doing then, the nation will seriously land in a ditch.
Godfred Dame said ” he that alleges must prove with better particulars to battle the case at court” but lawyer Appiah Kubi said, “After every complaint, investigations must be carried out”.
