(Audio) Tema East NDC observes night vigil for two comrades who died in line of duty.

The Tema East Constituency has observed a night of vigil in honor of two of its constituency executives who died in line of duty during the limited voters registration exercise.

The two executives, Christopher Senanu Aniklo and Daniel Aduah had a motor accident together on 25th September 2023 on their way to the voters registration center after mobilizing the youth to the Center.

Christopher Senanu died on the spot whilst Daniel Aduah who was receiving treatments at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital also died on the 30th of September 2023.

Before their death, Christopher Senanu Aniklo was a ward coordinator for Dade Agbo whilst Daniel Aduah was a branch communication officer at the Sea light ward.

Party Leaders from National, region, members from other constituencies and sympathizers came to pay their last respect to the fallen comrades.

As part of the vigil the party members marched through the principal streets of Tema Newtown with candle lights and read tributes in honor of the fallen comrades.

The Tema East Constituency Women Organizer Joyceline Quansah says the party has missed two hardworking men who stood in for the party through thick and thin and will forever be remembered.

The Tema East Constituency Chairman Kempis Ofosu Ware also called for unity among the part executives to bring the NDC back to power.

The MP for Tema East Hon Ashai Odamteen reminiscing on the good works of the comrades says the two have shown exemplary leadership that’s worth emulating. He called on others party members to emulate and work hard to bring the NDC to power.

He however added that the party will do all it can to support the families of these fallen heroes.
