RC Lens defeated inform Arsenal to clinch first victory in the UEFA Champions League.

RC Lens have recorded their first victory in the UEFA Champions League after beating Arsenal 2-1 in their second game in the group stage.

The comeback back victory at the Stade Bollaert- Delelis in Lens marks a historical day in the history of the club.

Ghana Black Stars midfielder, Abdul Salis Samed was in a very fantastic form and played the entire duration of the game to help his side cruise to a 2-1 victory.

Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal the lead in the 15th minute but Adrien Thomasson restored the game to parity in the 25th minute for the first half to end 1-1.

The second half saw many chances but it was RC Lens who took their chances after Elye Wahi scored to win the game for the host in the 70th minute.

RC Lens top the group B with 4 points after playing two matches , followed by Arsenal with 3 points, Sevilla with 2 points and PSV Eindhoven with 1 point.
