The Samson Fashion Training Center recently celebrated a milestone with its 6th graduation and Fashion Show, an event that vividly showcased the creativity and talent of its students. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as attendees admired the stunning designs crafted by the graduating class, reflecting months of hard work and dedication. The show not only provided a platform for the students to display their skills but also served as a testament to the center’s role in nurturing future fashion professionals.
Among the distinguished guests present were the NDC Chairman in China, Mr. Daniel Onyame Tetteh, the Lashibi Assembly Member, and several other notable figures. Their presence underscored the event’s importance and the growing recognition of vocational training in the fashion industry. The gathering also spotlighted the collaborative spirit between the training center and the broader community, including political figures committed to youth empowerment.

In an interview, CEO Mr. Samson Gator Amoah highlighted the dual focus of the center on both theoretical and practical skills. He explained that the training program covers sewing techniques and offers various services to individuals and institutions alike. Mr. Amoah passionately urged young people to recognize that academic setbacks do not define their futures. Instead, mastering hands-on skills can open doors to success, emphasizing that failure in conventional schooling can be overcome by vocational excellence.

Mr. Amoah also made a heartfelt appeal to the government, requesting support in the form of space and machinery to expand the center’s capacity. He pointed out that about 60% of the students receive training free of charge, demonstrating the center’s commitment to inclusivity and access regardless of financial background. His message was clear: the fashion industry provides a viable economic pathway for youth, and with governmental backing, the center can reach even more aspiring designers.
Echoing these sentiments, the NDC Chairman in China, Mr. Daniel Onyame Tetteh, stressed the importance of following one’s passion beyond traditional education. Drawing parallels with the disciplined, passion-driven approach observed in China, he encouraged individuals to chase their dreams relentlessly. Mr. Tetteh’s remarks reinforced the notion that success is a blend of classroom learning and practical application, inspiring youths to harness their talents and strive for excellence in their chosen crafts.
