Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central constituency, Hon Isaac Adongo is daring the vice president of the republic, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to show the whole country his track record as chairman of the economic management team.
According to him, the economy has whipped Dr Bawumia to move to Yahoo claiming he is doing digitalization. He said the vice president should show his track record in building infrastructure for digitalization.
At a press conference in parliament, the deputy ranking member on the finance committee indicated that the former administration was able to increase the network capacity from 2G to 4G for better service and if they would have still been in power, it would have been 5G by now.
Speaking to the media, he said they built the Accra digital center to import jobs for Ghanaian youth being in Accra and working in the United Kingdom (UK). Again he emphasized on building the biggest capacity data center to ensure the Ghana glove project which was to computerized government services.
He said without this development, you can only dream about digitalization.
He called on the media to inform the vice president that, the days when we didn’t know him in the country are long gone, and now he has a record. Anytime he is ready for a debate, he should choose the venue, and the NDC will come.
