Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin has urged parliamentarians to show leadership by purchasing a copy of each of the “LeGyandry” memoirs by Asamoah Gyan as a celebration of the football gem.
Speaking in Parliament, he said he is prepared to admit any statement brought to him in celebration of any of the icons in football at any time.
According to him, parliament must show leadership not just by words but rather deeds and that is why, he is calling on them to get a copy of each of Asamoah Gyan’s books because the money goes into his foundation to support the needy.
I want the maker of the statement to make sure that the 275 MPs get a copy of each of the LeGyandry memoirs, he said.
