We deserved more than the draw – Coach Yaw Preko.

The Head Coach of Accra Great Olympics has expressed his displeasure for their loss of concentration in the dire minutes that resulted in drawing at home.

In an interview after the match,  coach Yaw Preko explained that it was a painful draw looking at the good start of the game but failed to capitalise on the early chances they had.

” l think we started the game very well as usual,  the game plan worked, it’s always difficult when we are at the lead, especially in the First half,  it’s always difficult for the opponent to score but as usual we always find it difficult to kill the game. First half we had them but the final decision was lost “.

He further explained that the game became more intensive in the second half after  Dreams made some tactical substitutions which changed the face and  Due to that they lost concentration and got punished. 

“They came back strongly in the second half, made some substitutions and the face of the game changed. The game became a ding-dong battle and again during the last minutes before the blast of the whistle,  which had become a story of the season, whenever we lose concentration at the back, we get punished”.

Great Olympics lies in 9th position with 23 points after playing sixteen matches in the 2022/23 Betpawa Premier League.

Great Olympics will be hosted by the Potential Relegation team Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Kronmansah Park on Sunday.
