A former Member of Parliament for Adenta constituency, Kojo Adu Asare has entreated NDC delegates not to make mistakes in the upcoming National Delegates Congress.
He said that, the party has come a long a way and therefore need people who have strategy to win election and not people who think they are warlords and have no strategic plan.
He urged delegates to retain Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo as Chairman to continue with his good works for the NDC party.
“Among the people contesting, especially, between our current chairman who want to retain his seat and Asiedu Nketiah, I have worked with them both and if you get the opportunity to talk to those who have also worked with them, especially FEC and NEC, you will see the sense in what I’m saying”.
Speaking in an interview with Emmanuel Martey, Alaska De Don on Simpieso, Hon. Adu Asare stated that, those running Ofosu Ampofo down will laugh at the wrong side of their mouth coming Saturday.
“What will happen on Saturday will shock the marrows of people” he added
According to him, he believe the NDC will become a better party by voting people of integrity to steer the affairs of the party.
“Fellow delegates, the time has come, let’s honor our party, let’s honor NDC and let’s honor Ofosu Ampofo”.
The upcoming National Delegates Congress of the NDC is slated for Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Mosquito is contesting the incumbent Chairman, Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo for the Chairmanship seat.
The Chairmanship contest is an intriguing one and whatever happens one might end up politically bruised.
