Mr Eyifah Ghorman, a former presenter of ATL FM has been shot dead by an unidentified assailant in his home.
Popularly known by his Radio name as Dr. Sting was pronounced dead when he was rushed to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital last night.
Information picked up by this reporter indicates that the deceased Mr. Ghorman had returned home at about half past 7pm on Saturday 22nd May, 2021 and was shot in the face by an unidentified gunman
Speaking to Joe Gharbin who is a colleague journalist who had visited the home of Dr. Sting, he recounted that, the information he had picked from the Police indicated that the shot was fired at a close range.
Further information gathered from other sources revealed that the deceased had returned from a trainer’s course at the University of Cape Coast when he met his untimely death.
It is also known that he was shot while seated on the driver’s seat of his vehicle. What is left unknown is the reason for his murder.
Some cotenants who had heard the wife of the deceased cry for help came out to assist. They rushed him to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The University of Cape Coast Police has taken over the case and are yet to make an arrest.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital morgue for autopsy.
43-year-old Mr Ghorman was also the Headteacher of the Anglican Basic School at Ansapetu in the Cape Coast Metropolis.
He is survived by a wife and two children
