Chairman of the NDC, Ofosu Ampofo is critical over some questionable personalities who go round the homes of registered voters seizing the voter cards of some citizens. This he said is illegal and upfront to our fledgling democracy.
He said, It’s a criminal offense for anyone to collect your voters ID card, those going around houses confiscating voters ID’s must stop, report them to the police if you encounter any if such situations. –
He was speaking at the Greater Accra 2020 Campaign Team Inauguration.
He further welcome President Akuffo Addo’s call for issue-based campaign ahead of 2020 elections, adding that, ‘the NDC are very proud of our track records and that will lead us to victory 2020’
Ofosu Ampofo was unhappy with the perpetuation of violence and abuse of the rights of the citizens during the voter registration, and called for a swift action to prevent its further occurrence in our body politics.
“I strongly suggest that, the Military High Command investigates levels of lawlessness perpetuated by some military men during the voter registration exercise”
Chairman of the NDC, Ofosu Ampofo has disclosed of a blue print that is a bet for winning the December Presidential and Parliamentary elections, which involves bringing all well-meaning Ghanaians who are tired of the prevailing circumstances.
According to him, it is time for all NDC sympathizers to sacrifice to get on board, for a common goal .
He lauded the effort of the regional executives on their hard works and their contributions.
With the needed sacrifice, the NDC would turn the fortunes of all Ghanaians.
