Social Media Erupts as Prophet Bernard ElBernard Pulls Down ‘Fulfilled Prophecies’ List

Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun has found himself back in the middle of public controversy after releasing—and quickly deleting—a list of prophecies he claims have been fulfilled over the years.

The post, shared on Facebook, surfaced in the wake of intense public criticism following Kennedy Agyapong’s defeat in the NPP primaries, a development that reignited scrutiny of prophecies made ahead of the contest.

In the now-deleted post, the prophet listed several predictions he says came to pass, including President John Dramani Mahama’s re-election and the appointment of Christian Tetteh Yohuno as Inspector General of Police.According to him, these events were proof of the accuracy of his prophetic declarations.

However, instead of calming the storm, the post appeared to trigger renewed backlash, with many social media users accusing the prophet of selective prophecy, self-promotion, and attempting to rewrite narratives after political outcomes.

The criticism quickly gained traction online, forcing the post to be taken down. Screenshots, however, had already circulated widely, keeping the conversation alive across social media platforms.

The episode has once again fueled the ongoing debate in Ghana’s public space about prophecy, politics, and accountability, especially during election seasons where religious declarations often influence public opinion.

For now, Prophet Bernard ElBernard has gone quiet on the issue, but the controversy continues to trend, proving once again that in Ghana’s entertainment-religious space, **the internet never forgets
