YOU NEED CONNECTION TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MUSIC – NUELLA

Ghanaian upcoming afrobeats artist Emmanuella Bertha Adzewoda says young artists in the industry need the right connection to make it to the top.

The DPM Records Star who goes by the brand name Nuella made the comment in an interview with DJ Use, Host of Ahotor Weekend Show on Ahotor 92.3 FM.

Nuella who had a stint with music when she stayed in Nigeria for a while says making it to the top as a music star is difficult and until one connects him or herself to the big players and managers in the industry; it will be a daunting task to become a big star.

“Music is about who you know. As a young and upcoming artist, you need a manager, djs to play your music and backbones at positions where your music can be promoted. Without the connection, you can sing good music but will find it difficult to make a hit” she noted.

Nuella was on the Ahotor Weekend Show to promote her latest single Ololufemi ft. Tish produced by Bra K. Ololufemi is a Yoruba phrase meaning my love. She noted that even though she is Ghanaian, her stay in Nigeria influenced her latest single, a reason the title is in the Yoruba language.

Nuella also noted that even though she is currently in the University, a reason she came back to Ghana, she is keen on recording music from time to time for her fans and all citizens. Adding that with a vibrant connection in the Ghanaian industry, she will be  to make it because her songs are nice.

Nuella asked fans and the masses to connect to her on social media platforms; Instagram at Nuella GH and Facebook at Nuella Blinks. And on these two platforms her music can be downloaded. Currently she has 5 cover songs to her credit and some personal singles.
