Sepe-Tinpom: Residents protest over bad roads

Disgruntled residents of Sepe-Tinpom in the Asokore Mampong municipal Assembly in the Ashanti region has protested against the bad roads in the community.

They have threatened to demonstrate against their MCE if the roads are not fixed.

In an interview with the Assembly member , Hon Kwame Nkrumah Arthur,he said, even though, the government keeps trumpeting its infrastructural achievements in the country, their town lacks good roads.

They have, therefore, given government a one-month ultimatum to fix the roads or see them in the street demonstrating.

One of the residents stated, “We the youth of Sepe Tinpom and its surrounding communities with the support of our assembly member have resolved to give government a one-month ultimatum which starts from August 18, to act on our request or else we will hit on the street.
We will not also tolerate any political campaign activities in the area if we don’t see any action on our roads within this period.

“Pregnant women are dying because of this roads,our businesses are collapsing due to the nature of the roads one residents added”
