Police search for a man of God who runs a fake microfinance company

Officials of the Ghana Police Service has begun a search for the owner of a fake microfinance company, Wyselink Microfinance Limited.

Rev. Eric Nhyira Baafi, a man of God, is currently on the run and being sought for by police officials.
According to the police, he is in possession of a fake Bank of Ghana (BOG) license as well as operating an unlicensed micro-finance institution.
Isaac Fiifi Morgan, Eugene Amankwah Asante and Michael Annan who are the Director, Operations Manager and Head of Accounts respectively, have already been arrested to assist police investigations.
During interrogation, the police were able to retrieve GH¢20,000 from one of the officials of the company, and are in the process of recovering more from them.
The unlicensed microfinance company which has been closed down, had offices in Takoradi, Assin Fosu, Ofankor in the Greater Accra Region, and Drobo in the Brong Ahafo Region.
