One of the accused persons in the Joseph Boakye Danquah murder case has threatened to mention the names of people he alleges contracted him to kill the legislator.
Daniel Asiedu who gave a voluntary confession to the court, he was contracted by some persons within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to murder the NPP MP for the Abuakwa North constituency.
In his confession, the accused also said after his arrest the alleged persons who contracted him approached him to accuse certain persons within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of hiring him.
Daniel Asiedu further added that a promise by his contractors to get him freed when the NPP comes to government has not been met hence his decision to spill the beans.

After the judge asked whether he was making the confession because of the promise or out of a threat, Daniel Asiedu, nicknamed Sexy Don Don, said he is making the confession because he is now a changed person and wants the truth to be out.
The judge told the accused that he cannot be released for confessing because he is in a committal stage of the trial.
She said he can only provide evidence on what he is saying at the High Court, where a proper trial will take place.
But he was asked to return to think about what he has told the court, and to consider whether to add more or retract them.
Meanwhile, the second accused, Vincent Bosso, told the court that he knew nothing about the case and has been frustrated since his arrest.
He says his arrest has hampered efforts to take care of his only son as he has been rejected by family, who see him as a criminal. Daniel Asiedu and one other person, Vincent Bosso, have been charged with murder and abetment of the murder of the late MP.
The late J.B Danquah-Adu was stabbed to death on February 9, 2016, at his Shiashie residence in Accra. Daniel Asiedu who was the prime suspect was arrested two days after the incident with his accomplice picked several weeks later.
