The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, in his Maiden State Of The Nation Address has commended the former president, H. E. John Dramani Mahama for supervising a smooth transitional process.
In his address to the nation on 21st February 2017 on the floor of Parliament The president said, “H. E John Dramani Mahama’s conduct is a credit to our nation”
President Akuffo Addo was referring to the gracious manner the sitting president accepted defeat in the 2016 Presidential Elections and went ahead to supervise a credible transition process which urshered in the NPP government.
