God is love, Jasper motors, little drops fun clubs ” others to hold mammoth Demo against Akufo Addo

Customers and clients of “God is love, little drops” others are scheduled to staged a massive street Protest against government’s inability to refund their deposits by the defunct DKM and others.

The client’s spokespersons have officially sought clearance by the Municipal Police Commander at Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo region respectively.

The demonstration which has been slated on the 28th August, 2018 will attract between 500 to 3,000 customers of the collapsed Micro Finances’ in the region, which gained prominence and attention, within the media space somewhere in 2016 prior to the general elections.

It would however be recalled that the NPP prior to the elections in 2016, through its flag bearer ( candidate) Nana Akufo Addo heavily launched a scathing attack on the then NDC regime led by John Mahama to the effect that, the government was toothless and highly incompetent and as such it was the reason why these savings and loan companies collectors assumed expiration, and that should Ghanaians give the NPP the opportunity to govern, the said monies would be revert to their owners with interest, within the government’s first 100 days in office. The declaration by the NPP’s Nana Akufo Addo at the time ignited the customers and clients of these expired microfinance companies to vote massively for the party which secured victory for President Akufo Addo. Meanwhile since there seemed no show of concrete willingness and political will by the President and his assigns in the administration after 19 years of governing to settle these over expectants owners of these monies owed them by the collapsed Microfinance companies.

Moreover, there are seemingly extreme anger and outrage and growing tensions amongst these customers over what they described as the neglect by the Nana Addo – led administration to recouped their monies after the insolvency by DKM , Jasper Motors, God is love as well as the rest of these savings and loans companies in the region.

Similarly, the Press release however seeks to suggest that, the government has bitten more than it can chew and hence they will resort to any legal processes through whatever means to get back what is due them, and their entreaties without any hesitation and equivocation.
