Didi Dramani appointed head coach of Ghana Black Queens

The Ghana Football Association have appointed former Kotoko trainer Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as the new head Coach for the Black Queens. Dramani replaces Yusif Basigi who is currently away in Serbia for attachment.

 Basigi has been in charge of the senior National Women’s team since 2011 where he led them to two Africa Women’s Championship and also helping the team to clinch Gold at the All Africa Games in 2015.

 He has been replaced by Dramani who also made history with the National U17 Women’s team (Black Maidens) after supervising the side to win bronze at the 2012 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan.

The 48-year-old (Didi Dramani) prior to his appointment as Black Queens Coach was in charge of the Black Princesses team. He will be assisted by former Ghana Female International Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo who previously Coached Ghanaian lower division side Amidaus Professionals.

Both Coaches are expected to prepare the team for next year’s Africa Women’s Championship which will be hosted by Ghana.
