Ayariga denies involvement in alleged galamsey sex video

The Bawku Central Member of Parliament (MP), Mahama Ayariga has denied being the individual engaged in sexual intercourse with an Asian lady in a leaked video which has since gone viral.

According to Mr Ayariga the individuals who first circulated the video seek to suggest that during his tenure as the Minister of Environment, Science Technology and Innovation under the erstwhile NDC administration he offered the lady a licence to engage in Galamsey in exchange for sexual favours.

He took to Facebook on Friday morning to deny the being the male actor in the grainy video and all other inferences to Galamsey.

He said those who orchestrated and circulated the video, “only succeeded in giving us a glimpse of the crude and the unfulfilled lifes they live”.

He also stated that in accordance with his Islamic faith, he has already forgiven the architects of the video which he sees as evidence of debased Ghanaian politics.
