NOTE: The 12 group winners will qualify alongside the three best runners-up plus Cameroon who will automatically join the qualified teams as host of the competition and together make up the 16 nations for the tournament.

The polling also suggests that should Cameroon top their group, the second-placed side in Group B will have to contest the finals.

The qualifying matches kick off in June and end in November 2018.
