Former TV3 Talented Kidz winner Tutulapato has made a heartfelt appeal to dancehall star Shatta Wale as he works to revive his music career.
Speaking on Ahotor Mmre with Obaapa Janee, the rapper, whose real name is Cosmos Boakoh, revealed that he is looking up to Shatta Wale’s remarkable comeback story as a source of inspiration.
According to Tutulapato, Shatta Wale’s journey from stepping away from the spotlight to returning stronger and becoming one of Ghana’s most successful musicians gives him hope that he too can make a successful return to the music scene.
“I now need the blessings of the greatest musician in Ghana, Shatta Wale, who came back into the industry and has been huge and very successful after taking a break from music. Since I’m also coming back, I need his blessings to break through,” he said.
Tutulapato, who shot to fame after winning TV3 Talented Kidz in 2013, is currently promoting his new song titled Abrabo, a track that reflects on life, death and the realities of human existence.
The young musician believes that with hard work, support from industry players and blessings from established stars like Shatta Wale, he can reconnect with fans and make a strong impact once again.
