Enock Agyepong, an experienced Ghanaian music producer, recently remarked that the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) would not be complete without Shatta Wale’s presence.
This annual music awards ceremony is a highly anticipated event that celebrates hardworking musicians who have made significant strides in the industry throughout the year.
During the ceremony, talented musicians give live performances and receive awards plaques for their outstanding contributions to the industry.
Shatta Wale is a musician known for his controversial and enigmatic personality.
He was banned in 2019 and his ban was lifted in 2021 after an incident. Despite his popularity, he has not received any nominations since his ban.
Speaking to Obaapa Janee on Ahotor FM, Enock Agyepong suggested that Shatta Wale’s inclusion in the awards ceremony would bring the competition that the award scheme needs, given his massive following and the unparalleled energy he brings to the event.
Enock Agyepong also emphasized that artists like Shatta Wale are essential to the success of the award scheme.
He encouraged the Charter House to sit down with Shatta Wale and his team to resolve any issues, as they did with Stonebwoy in the past.
