A well-known movie maker from Ghana, Socrate Safo, recently revealed that the popular “Kyeiwaa” movie series had a 13th part that was not released due to editing challenges.
The “Kyeiwaa” series, which narrates the comic adventures of a young witch named Kyeiwaa, captured the hearts of audiences across Ghana and beyond.
Safo explained in a recent interview that part 13 of the movie faced significant editing difficulties, which was the reason it was not aired. It is worth noting that “Kyeiwaa” holds the record for the African movie with the most sequels ever.
The 12-part movie series about Kyeiwaa, a determined witch, created quite a buzz among movie enthusiasts in Ghana in the early 2000s.
Due to the twists and turns of Kyeiwaa’s journey in and out of witchcraft was making it an engaging watch for many.
