Road infrastructure under Akufo Addo’s administration has surpassed previous administrations – Jalulah

Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Stephen Jalulah, has stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government does not seek recognition for projects undertaken during the leadership of John Dramani Mahama.

Jalulah emphasized that roads constructed by the Akufo-Addo government from 2017 to 2023 are unmatched in quality compared to previous administrations.

These remarks follow criticism from Kwame Twumasi Ampofo, Member of Parliament for Sene West, who accused the Minister for Roads and Highways of taking credit for the Kwame Danso-Atebubu-Kajaji road, which he claims was initiated by the Mahama-led administration.

Jalulah reiterated the government’s dedication to transparency, clarifying that prioritizing acknowledgment for past administration projects is not a focal point.

Instead, he highlighted the extensive scale and positive impact of road construction initiatives carried out by the Akufo-Addo government since 2017.

Jalulah suggested that these efforts have surpassed previous administrations, including John Mahama’s tenure.
