On the occasion of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, whiles Ghanaians celebrate the first
President of the Republic of Ghana and the world celebrates one of the founding fathers of the
Organization of African Unity now African Union, the Rastafari Council Ghana join in this
celebration, calling on all Ghanaians and Africans all over the world to revisit the ideas and vision of
Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah for a prosperous Africa.
According to the Council, the indelible imprints made by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to restore racial pride in Africa and industrialize Ghana for economic transformation, while entrenching African Unity is worth reflecting on as they celebrate the 114th anniversary of his birth.
