Nigerian-based Ghanaian artist Pzeefire has called for increased investment to support and elevate the country’s thriving music scene.
Speaking on Ahotor Mmre with Obaapa Janee, Pzeefire highlighted the industry’s recent successes both locally and internationally, while emphasising the need for more resources, opportunities, and support to unlock its full potential and nurture emerging talent.
“Ghanaian music is doing well, but we need more backing to reach even greater heights,” he stated.
He called on the government, private sector, and other stakeholders to fund the music industry and increase investment, underscoring a growing push among artists for better infrastructure, sponsorship, and financial support to ensure long-term growth.
As he promotes his new single “Jukpa,” Pzeefire’s appeal serves as both a reminder of the progress made and a challenge to stakeholders to continue supporting Ghanaian music—efforts that could further solidify the country’s position as a leading hub for African.
