Persons living with disability (PWDs) have expressed their revulsion against the politicians for not taking their plight into consideration when preparing their manifestoes.The disability act (715) was enacted by parliament to enable the disability society to enjoy some privileges but it’s not actively working as most of the public places are not disability friendly in the country.The law was made to ease the stress they go through when looking for job vacancies, boarding a public transport, and even some public places most of the time uses elevators and staircases but all of this stress is still persisting.Expressing their ordeal to the Ahotor News reporter, Nana Appiah Kubi, some of the persons living with disability disclose that the law enacted by parliament is not actively working and that they are disappointed in the political parties in the country for not taking their plight serious. They are of the view that the political parties should involve them in their manifestoes and make sure they implement it effectively to relief them from their problems.
