My 24-hour economy initiative will offer lower electricity to companies – John Mahama.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama, has outlined his vision for a ’24-hour economy’ policy, which he believes will help reverse the alarming trend of Ghana’s youth risking their lives in perilous journeys across the Sahara and the Mediterranean to reach Europe in search of better opportunities.

Mr. Mahama said companies that participate in his proposed 24-hour economy initiative would be offered incentives to operate.

Mahama’s 24-hour economy plan stands as the centerpiece of his 2024 re-election campaign, aiming to stimulate economic growth and job creation.

Mahama has made the 24-hour economy one of the key pillars of his campaign platform for the 2024 presidential election.

He argues that such a policy would help to boost economic growth and create jobs
John Mahama mentioned that these companies will benefit from lower electricity tariffs for operating off-peak hours.
