Nigerian gospel artiste Moses Bliss has opened up about a deeply personal and emotional chapter in his life, recounting how his wife, Marie, battled a mysterious illness shortly after the birth of their child.
Speaking during a recent ministration, the singer revealed that the ordeal began while they were still abroad following the arrival of their baby. According to him, his wife suddenly fell seriously ill, experiencing severe pain and struggling to breathe or lie comfortably on her stomach or back.
Moses Bliss disclosed that the situation became increasingly distressing as they moved from one hospital to another in search of answers. Despite undergoing several medical tests, doctors were unable to diagnose the cause of her condition, leaving the family in a state of uncertainty and fear.
The gospel star admitted that the weight of the situation brought him to tears, describing it as one of the most difficult moments of his life. With his wife incapacitated, a relative had to step in to help care for their newborn while they continued seeking medical help.
However, in the midst of the crisis, Moses Bliss said he found strength in his faith. He recounted that while travelling back to Nigeria, he felt spiritually led to take charge of the situation. Upon returning, he ministered to his wife, and together they prayed fervently, declaring healing through scriptures.
In what he describes as a miraculous turnaround, the singer revealed that shortly after he later travelled to London, his wife called him to share unexpected news — she had been discharged from the hospital and was recovering.
He shared the testimony to inspire others, encouraging people to remain steadfast in prayer even during life’s most uncertain moments. The story has since touched many, highlighting themes of faith, resilience, and hope in the face of adversity.
