Medeama SC Humbled Accra Hearts of Oak at Tarkwa

Medeama SC delivered an impressive performance which secured them a convincing 2-0 victory over Accra Hearts of Oak in their in the GPL Matchday 25 encounter at Akoon Park.

From the opening whistle, both teams displayed determination and skill on the field, but it was Medeama SC who seized the initiative early on. With precision passing and attacking prowess, they managed to break through Hearts of Oak’s defense and create scoring opportunities.

The breakthrough came in the second half when Medeama SC registered the first goal through Kobina Amoah in the 65th minutes to take the lead. They continued to press forward, putting pressure on the Hearts of Oak defense.

As the match progressed, Hearts of Oak fought hard to find an equalizer, but Medeama SC remained resilient in defense and dangerous on the counterattack. Their efforts paid off when they doubled their lead through Godfred Abban in the 82nd minutes.

The win sees Medeama SC climb up the 6th position on Ghana Premier League table with 36 points while Hearts of Oak lies at 11 position with 32 points after all playing 25 games.
