Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have arrived in Côte d’Ivoire with a substantial 35-man squad for their residential preseason camp in Abidjan. The Tarkwa-based side, fresh off securing the 2025/26 domestic title, will spend three weeks at the Palais des Sports de Treichville focusing on intensive training, fitness work, tactical refinement, and team cohesion as they integrate a wave of new signings.
Among the fresh faces joining the Mauve and Yellows are Sudanese international goalkeeper Monged Abuzaid Salman on a two-year deal, bringing continental experience from the Africa Cup of Nations and CAF competitions; defensive midfielder Etse Dogli from Heart of Lions on a three-year contract; highly rated forward Dominic Amponsah secured until 2029; midfielder Emmanuel Boateng on a three-year agreement; centre-back Yaya Abdul-Raman on a three-year deal; versatile defender Usman Safianu, the former Hohoe United captain; and recent permanent arrivals such as right-back Ebenezer Adade from Dreams FC along with prolific forward Emmanuel Annor.
These reinforcements strengthen depth across the pitch as the club prepares to defend its Ghana Premier League crown in the 2026/27 season while also representing the country in the CAF Champions League, where they aim to make a strong impact after earning Category 2 stadium certification that allows them to host preliminary matches at the TnA Stadium.
