Mahama tours Eastern Region

Former President John Dramani Mahama is embarking on a two-day ‘Building Ghana’ tour in the Eastern Region starting today.

As part of the NDC flagbearer’s itinerary, he will engage in various activities aimed at connecting with the people of the region.

The Eastern Regional Communication Officer, Kojo Danquah explained in details on Ahotor FM morning show that, the tour will commence with a meeting with the party’s Regional Executive Committee and stakeholders at Peduase Valley Resort.

There will also be a courtesy call on the Anum Manhene, followed by a durbar of farmers and fishmongers at Frankadua Market Square.

Later today, a gathering of transport unions and traders is scheduled at the Roman Catholic Parish Hall in Agormenya.
This will be followed by a town hall meeting at GNAT Hall in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital.

The Initial day’s events will wrap up with Campus Connect at SDA Training College.

Moving on to the second day of the tour, activities will commence with a breakfast meeting with the clergy in Koforidua, followed by a courtesy visit to the Koforidua Zongo Chief, accompanied by other engagements to conclude the regional tour.
