Member of Parliament for Ada constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Hon Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah has called on politicians to respect the decisions and contributions of their opponents when they are in government for better country that their all hoping for.
According to the Deputy Minority Chief Whip in Ghana’s parliament, politicians politicize everything that goes on in the country even though, they know very well that one way or the other, it will affect the growth and wealth of the country.
Her comment comes after IMF calls on the government to review its flagship free SHS policy.
Speaking on the morning show on Ahotor FM dubbed Adekye Mu Nsem hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu in an interview, she used former president John Dramani Mahama’s advice on free SHS as an example saying if the government would have listened to the advice, we would not have been here as a country.
In her response, she said, every parent will be happy to have their ward been educated but the quality must be the hallmark not quantity.
