Is the GFA seeking sponsorship from the NLA?

The idea is to have a partnership deal that will likely be introduced in the form of a predict and win when the next soccer season commences….

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday July 9, met  with the leadership of the National Lottery Authority (NLA).

Intelligence gathered by Ahotor FM Sports is that, the meeting was basically centered on sponsorship.

Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, GFA President, confirmed this on his Facebook wall with a picture at the NLA in front of an NLA pull up.

The visit is believed to be part of a move by the association to build good relationships with the corporate world.

Speaking to a source close to the GFA, the motive of the visit is to have a partnership deal that will likely be introduced in the form of a predict and win when the next soccer season commences.

The GFA already have NASCO, PUMA, STARTIMES and MTN as frontline sponsors and are looking forward to attracting the NLA to be part of that list of sponsors.

The GFA recently cancelled the football season due to the outbreak of the corona virus pandemic after suspending the league earlier this year.

In March, the Government of Ghana suspended all sporting activities and placed a ban on social gatherings.
