Nollywood actress and producer, Ruth Kadiri has revealed that she wants the just-wedded actress, Ekene Umenwa in her next project.
Ruth was asked about her next movie in the Nollywood industry, and she said she have Ekene Umenwa in her plans.
She exposes that she has a plan to team up with Ekene’s husband, a movie producer for a mega project that would include other movie Stars from Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya and Nigeria.
She said, ‘’ I have learnt Ekene has special grace and I will love to tap from it.
Yes, I am a big actress and producer but I respect grace when I see it and also try to push those that carry the grace.’’
‘’ I want Ekene Umenwa in my next movie, she is special.’’ She said.
Nollywood actress Ekene Umenwa, as she tied the knot with filmmaker Alex Kleanson in a stunning white wedding ceremony on 3rd November 2023 (Traditional marriage) and 4th November 2023 white wedding (Church wedding).
Kadiri ventured into Nollywood in the movie Boys Cot and since then has over fifty movies to her credit. As a screenwriter, Ruth Kadiri has written and co–written several movies including Matters Arising, Heart of a Fighter, Ladies Men, Sincerity, First Class and Over the Edge. Ruth also produced films such as Matters Arising, Over the Edge, Somebody Lied, and Memory Lane, which deal with the issue of lies and deceit.
