Ghanaian rapper Medikal stated his readiness to cooperate with content creators on the popular social media platform TikTok to promote his music.
Speaking with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he stressed that these content creators help enhance Ghanaian music and play a major role in its promotion.
He mentioned that he regularly meets up with these content creators because he finds their work interesting.
”Often, I don’t wait to release my music before connecting with various people on TikTok such as influencers, dancers, and others. I support them because they promote Ghanaian music, not just my own. Moreover, I find their work very intriguing.” he said.
Medikal has explained why he believes it’s important to maintain a healthy relationship with content creators.
According to him, these creators are a crucial part of the entertainment and creative space in Ghana, and their contribution significantly impacts the popularity of songs. Medikal emphasized that the current trend indicates that an artist cannot just release a song and go to sleep. The efforts of content creators, specifically TikTokers, play a significant role in making songs popular.
