I don’t want to be a Vice President in Ghana – Hon Kennedy Agyapong.

Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency in the central region, Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has indicated that, he can never be a Vice President in Ghana.

According to him, when such offer comes from the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, he will reject it.

He indicated that, that is not his vision and will never accept that role.

Speaking to KSM, the former Presidential Aspirant of the NPP said, he cannot be mute when things are going wrong, hence taking such position will prevent him to do what is right for the people of Ghana.

“To tell you the truth, why I cannot be a Vice President is that I will speak my mind and am not going to be mate” Kennedy Agyapong told KSM.

The legislature lost his bid to become the Presidential candidate of the NPP to the current Vice President after a tough competition in the last year primaries.

He garnered 71,996 votes representing 37.41% whiles the Vice President got 118,210 votes representing 61.47% to win.
