I believe in prophecy but our God is not a 31st-night prophecy God – Bishop Dr. Bonegas

Founder and leader of the Great Fire Pentecostal International Ministry, Bishop Dr. Bonegas, has addressed the practice of relying on last-minute or 31st-night prophecies, emphasizing that while he believes in prophecy, God does not act through sudden, end-of-year predictions.

According to him, spiritual guidance should encourage believers to practice consistent faith and devotion throughout the year. He stressed that relying on fleeting predictions can mislead followers and detract from the importance of daily spiritual discipline.

The cleric highlighted that genuine breakthroughs and blessings come through diligence, prayer, and obedience, not through waiting for a single night to receive answers. He urged Christians to focus on steady spiritual growth rather than short-term expectations.

Bishop Dr. Bonegas concluded by reminding believers that a life of commitment, service, and perseverance is what truly attracts divine favor, reinforcing the idea that faith should be lived every day, not concentrated on a single moment in time.
