Government must invest in football to win trophies- Dr Nyaho Tamakloe

Board member of Accra Hearts of oak Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe has expressed that Ghana can only win more trophies if the government invest heavily in football.

In expressing his opinion on the current performance of the Black Stars on another platform, Dr Nyaho Tamakloe emphasized that until Government invest heavily in football for the boys to train from the scratch like what Dr Kwame Nkrumah did , Ghana can not win trophies.

The Black Stars of Ghana won its last AFCON trophy in 1982 and has come close of winning the trophy in 1992, 2010, and 2015. Ghana will hope to end its 42-year drought in Cote D’Ivoire at the 2023 Africa cup of Nations.
