Ghanaians are used to two- term governance; we need to justify….Dompreh

The Majority Whip and the Member of Parliament for Asawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annor Dompreh has waded into the conversation moving around town concerning NPP’s intention of breaking the ‘8’ to write a statement in the Ghanaian political history.

According to the enterprise MP, their work has become more difficult due to what the system is known for; hence they need to justice why Ghanaians should retain them in government.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the media, Mr. Dompreh revealed that they lost a lot of seats in the 2020 general elections due to some candidates they field in the various constituencies but they ratified those mistakes by choosing the preferred ones in the orphan constituencies indicating their readiness of getting back their seat that eluded them in 2020.

He is of the view that, because they have been able to elect their flag bearer , it will help them clean up any mess created in the constituencies especially where there will be hitches as far as the election of the orphan constituencies are concern to pave way for the upcoming parliamentary primaries in the party “he stated.

He further assured the media that he will get more votes than what the flag bearer of the party, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia got during the election. He said  the delegates have assured him of their support of which he confidently say that he that he will get not less 800 out of the 1000 delegates in an election day surpassing what the flag bearer even gain in the flag bearer election “he bragged.

Mimicking what the former general secretary of the NPP, the late sir John said “fear delegates, he is saying know your delegates” because he has worked tirelessly in bringing the development they needed to them so with this, they will surely give him another opportunity to the good people of Asawam Adoagyiri no the propaganda plots his opponents may bring “he stated.
