Gary Neville Predicts Arsenal Will Struggle Against Bayern Munich

Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, shared his concerns regarding Arsenal’s upcoming match against Bayern Munich during a recent podcast.

Neville expressed doubts about Arsenal’s ability to perform against Bayern, citing the German club’s formidable history and strength.

In a candid discussion on a podcast, Gary Neville didn’t hold back his thoughts on Arsenal’s prospects against Bayern Munich. Despite hoping for an Arsenal victory, Neville admitted his skepticism, pointing out Bayern’s dominance in European football and their recent struggles in the Bundesliga.

“I hope Arsenal beats Bayern Munich, of course I do. But I actually think Arsenal will struggle against Bayern Munich,” Neville stated.

Neville highlighted the challenges Arsenal might face, particularly when playing at the Allianz Arena in the second leg.

“Bayern is having a torrid time in the Bundesliga, but I just feel that Arsenal will struggle against the might, the history, going into Allianz in the second leg,” he remarked.

Shifting his focus to the Premier League title race, Neville shared his analysis with seven games remaining. Acknowledging the tight competition, he emphasized the importance of European football commitments for the top contenders.

“They have all got European football, they have all got things to contend with. It’s tight. But City will be very happy this weekend. I think they will be happy that Arsenal has dropped two points today,” Neville concluded, hinting at Manchester City’s advantage in the title race following Arsenal’s recent setback.
