Free agent Ghana midfielder Kwasi Sibo offered to Championship side West Ham United

Ghana international Kwasi Sibo has emerged as a potential target for English Championship side West Ham United after being offered to the club during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old midfielder is currently a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Spanish outfit Real Oviedo in July, making him an attractive low-cost option for clubs seeking experienced reinforcements.

Sibo enjoyed an impressive spell in Spain, where his consistent performances earned him recognition with the Black Stars. Renowned for his ball-winning ability, tireless work rate, tactical discipline, and composure in possession, the midfielder has established himself as a dependable presence in the centre of the park.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Sibo has been offered to West Ham as the Championship outfit explores options to strengthen its midfield ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

At this stage, however, no formal negotiations have taken place, with the club still assessing whether to proceed with a move for the Ghanaian international.

Sibo’s availability on a free transfer could prove appealing to West Ham, allowing the club to bolster its squad without paying a transfer fee while adding valuable experience and quality to its midfield department.

Although his next destination remains uncertain, a move to England would present the former Real Oviedo midfielder with a fresh challenge and the opportunity to continue his career in one of Europe’s most competitive football environments.
